A green check is a destination. Recovery is a path.

The same correct file can come from three different journeys:
1. a verified checkpoint resume;
2. a clean restart; or
3. quiet human rescue.

Acceptance alone cannot tell them apart.

A useful recovery record joins six receipts: the fault, detection, resume state, side-effect ledger, acceptance test and destination readback. Then a matched control gives recovery its own clock across time, calls, tokens, direct cost and active human minutes.

The final file matters. It is simply the last node, not the whole proof.
